Dear colleagues, given the manifold problems our society is facing, geosciences are playing a key role for the next decades. We are therefore looking forward to your participation at our congress that will gather - in an attractive congress center - nearly all geo-societies and institutions that are working and conducting research in Germany. 2nd Circular download Conferenceposter for Download (1,4 MB) Time schedule and Congress Sites October 10, 2010: Jubilee „100 years Geologische Vereinigung“ followed by Icebreaker Party in the Senckenberg Museum in Frankfurt a.M. (transfer to Darmstadt by bus afterwards) October 11 to 13, 2010: Plenary Sessions and Special Scientific Sessions in the Darmstadtium, the Congress centre of Technische Universität and the city of Darmstadt (www.darmstadtium.de) Congress Fee: 300 EUR (reduced fee for members of participating geoorganisations 250 Euro). Discounted fee for students and retired or unemployed persons 150 EUR (120 EUR for members of participating geoorganizations). Cancellation can be made until 3 month ahead of the conference without any additional charge. After this deadline cancellations will be charged with a handling fee of 20 € . Please note that participants who have not paid their fee via bank transfer at least 3 days prior to the conference, will have to expect a serious queue time when registering. In any case - please bring along the transfer voucher. Travel grant for students Student members of the DGG and GV as well as those joining during the congress may apply for a travel grant.
