The session calls for contributions shedding new light on the interplay of tectonics and related sedimentation processes at all scales, e.g. source-to-sink analysis of depositional systems from individual fault setting up to large-scale plate tectonics. We welcome a broad set of methodological approaches for an inspiring discussion, e.g. sediment provenance analysis, basin analysis, sequence stratigraphy, erosional flux balancing, thermochronology, structural geology, tectonic geomorphology, geochemistry, paleoclimatology, etc.
